The A side was written by C. Neese, M. Gayden and the flip side "We're Gonna Hate Ourselves In The Morning", was wriiten by A. Alexander, D. Ward.[1] Released in 1967, it climbed up to # 45 in the R&B charts, providing a hit for Clifford Curry.[2] It was also a minor hit for Geno Washington & The Ram Jam Band.[3] It has also been covered by the Box Tops and appears on their 1968 Non Stop album.[4]
